Locus is a premium live wallpaper app that draws evolving graphs across your home and lock screen. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how it is used, and the choices you have. Locus contains no advertising, no account system, and no cross-app tracking.
Information We Access
App Preferences
Locus stores your selected Scene, Lock and Home moods, trial status, and wallpaper settings locally on your device. This information stays in the app's private storage and is not sent anywhere.
Optional Reminders
If you allow notifications, Locus can schedule a gentle reminder about your trial on your device. These reminders are set locally and never contact a server. You can turn them off in Android settings.
What We Do Not Collect
Locus is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your personal identity or contact information
- Photos, videos, or files from your device
- Microphone, camera, or audio from your device
- Location data
- Contacts, call logs, or messages
- Browsing history or app usage across other applications
- Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
- Crash reports or behavioral analytics
Purchases and Third-Party Services
Locus offers an optional Pro unlock — monthly or lifetime — through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing, transaction verification, and subscription management are handled by Google Play and our billing service provider. These services may receive transaction and purchase information necessary to process your order, subject to their respective privacy policies:
All network communication uses encrypted connections. Locus does not send wallpaper content, scene settings, or other device content to these services.
Data Security
The wallpaper is drawn on your device and never leaves it. Any network communication for purchase processing is transmitted over encrypted connections. App preferences are stored in the app's private storage, which is isolated from other applications on your device.
Data Retention
App preferences and settings are retained on your device until you uninstall Locus or clear app data. Purchase and subscription records are managed by Google Play and our billing service provider in accordance with their retention policies.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable
- Object to certain types of processing
Since Locus does not maintain external accounts or store your personal data on our servers, most data can be removed by uninstalling the app. For purchase-related data requests, you may also contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
Locus is a general-audience personalization application. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the application and on this page before an updated version is distributed. The effective date above indicates when this policy was last revised.
