Effective at launch
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Locus, an Android live wallpaper app published on Google Play. By installing, opening, or using Locus, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
The app and service
Locus is a personalization app that draws live graphs as an Android wallpaper on your home and lock screens. It offers four scenes — Butterfly, Pendulum, Quartet, and Trinity — that keep growing new trails while the wallpaper is on screen. Locus is not a music player, video editor, or social app. It does not have accounts, chat, public profiles, or user-generated content.
Live Plot
Live Plot is the moving wallpaper. The drawing happens on your phone. When the wallpaper is not on screen — including while you browse the gallery — Live Plot pauses so it is not running in the background. Locus does not use your microphone, camera, or files. Your Scene, Lock and Home moods, and other settings stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Trial and purchases
New users can try every live Scene for seven days. The trial needs no account and no payment method. It does not renew. When the trial ends, your wallpaper stays as a Still Plot — a finished still image instead of motion.
Locus Pro unlocks ongoing Live Plot through monthly and lifetime purchases processed via Google Play Billing. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically through Google Play until you cancel. Lifetime is a one-time purchase for as long as the product is offered, and you can restore it on devices signed in to your Google account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Locus, including by trying to reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or its visual assets. Locus does not knowingly collect information from children and is not directed at children under 13.
Prohibited content and conduct
Locus does not provide user-generated content, communication, or social features. You may not use the app to distribute harmful, illegal, or abusive content. Locus prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in all forms.
Intellectual property
Locus, including its name, visuals, scenes, and software, belongs to its publisher. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or make derivative works from the app without prior written consent.
Disclaimer of warranties
Locus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Live Plot may look or perform differently on different phones. The app pauses when the wallpaper is not visible, and it may settle into a Still Plot when motion is not available.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher of Locus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the app.
Termination
You can stop using Locus at any time by uninstalling the app. The publisher may change, pause, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
Changes to these Terms
Material changes to these Terms will be shown in the app and on this page before an updated version is distributed.
